Merill & Ring Forestry is an American company that has owned and operated timberlands in British Columbia for more than 100 years. It is seeking at least $25 million in damages from the Canadian Government for unfairly restricting log exports from Canada in violation of Chapter 11 of the North American Free Trade Agreement.
